Strategic Account Manager
Job Mission
:
The Strategic Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with CPI strategically important large customers and is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives
:
The Strategic Account Manager represents a wide range of CPI products and services to assigned customers while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met.
:
Strategic Account Manager is responsible for leads generation with potential strategic customers.
Key Job Accountabilities
:
Establishes productive, professional relationships with key Personnel and functions in assigned customer accounts.
:
Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
:
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
:
Proactively leads a joint company:strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three:year period.
:
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
:
Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
:
Performance Measures
:
Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts
:
Meets assigned expectations for profitability
:
Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management
:
Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards
:
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company
Basic Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree, preferred technical field
:
5+ years of commercial experience with at least 2 years in a solution:sales or account management role.
:
Solution sales experience within the specialty chemicals, refrigeration, or compressors (i.e. lubricants or additives) industry is preferred
:
Track record of achieving consistent sales growth.
:
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
:
Exceptional interpersonal abilities and a strong winning drive for growth and sales success
:
Willing and able to travel up to 40 (US travel)
Considered a Plus:
:
UPWARD POTENTIAL : interested in and capable of becoming a sales / commercial leader.
:
Knowledge of the chemical or refrigeration industry
:
MBA or post:graduate degree
