The purpose of the position of Human Resource Manager is to maintain and enhance human resources to support the strategic vision of our company through recruitment, staffing, training and development, and employee performance. This position will be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity to improve employee relations while adhering to business requirements and regulations.
Essential Job Functions
:Partner with leaders on strategic business, organizational and talent management issues
:Facilitate leadership and team development programs and initiatives including succession and workforce planning
:Manager coaching for the business
:Enhance business performance by providing strategic organizational development strategies in a consultative manner to align with business objectives
:Partner with the corporate staffing department to create a strategic recruitment plan including identification, sourcing and hiring of top industry talent
:Leads organizational and restructuring change management efforts in execution of key business decisions or projects
:Communicate and implement corporate/segment Human Resource initiatives; provide input from the business perspective during new program development
:Manage the talent management and associated process improvements for the business including: succession planning, performance and career management, and employee development
:Administer Human Resource policies and procedures; investigate, provide counsel and advice to employees and managers on Human Resource polices/practices/procedures
:Compiles reports as required for business and government purposes
:Serve on Corporate Human Resource project teams as required
:Manages day:to:day employee relations activities for the business
:Establish positive working environments and relationships
:Manage contract employee relationships and implement changes to be in compliance with co:employment laws.
Education/ Certification
:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
:Certifications within related field
Experience and Skills
:Minimum eight (8) years of demonstrated Human Resources experience supporting business units or locations including strategic initiatives
:Ability to partner/consult with all levels of the organization; coach, influence and make sound judgment calls; solid negotiating and problem solving skills and decision making capabilities
:Strong leadership skills

:PHR/SPHR certifications
:Master's Degree in Business
