Speech Language Pathologist Facility: Covenant HealthCare, Saginaw, MI Department: Speech Therapy Job Req #: 16856 Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day shift Hours: Flexible Hours Job Details: *****This position is for the Autism Center at Covenant.**** The Speech Language Pathologist, Level I demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Covenant and the commitment to Keeping our Promise of Caring. Responsible to provided a full range of Speech therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and interventions in a manner consistent with qualifications and standards of practice. Responsible to establish and implement diagnostic testing and treatment planning for patients in the Autism Center. Education/Licensure/Certification: * Graduate of a Master's or Doctoral Program required * Certificate of Clinical Competence of ASHA * Member of ASHA preferred * Current CFY would be considered * BLS certified or eligible Experience: * Preferred PM&R - therapy clinic experience in clinical setting of vacancy * Previous experience preferred * Knowledge of applied behavior analysis * 1 year experience working with children with autism * Working knowledge and basic skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email * Must be a team player with the ability to work independently, as well as in small or large teams * Protects and maintains the confidential nature of information * Must have strong written and oral communication skills * Minimal typing skills of 40 words/ minute Contact Information:
