+ Act as the primary electrical validation engineering interface to the customer
+ Maintain controller validation timeline for assigned applications
+ Support all required program documentation including:
Engineering Test Specifications
Customer Validation Reports
Test Activities
Validation Test Plans
5 Phases
Customer issues/communications tracking
Customer Documentation, etc.
+ Coordinate sample requirements to support validation test plans
+ Support controller update activities: samples, vehicle testing, validation, etc.
+ Plan and manage test readiness activities, e.g., fixtures, cables, software, etc
+ Support Customer Program Implementation activities as required
+ Support the interpretation and analysis of internal and external validation requirements and translate into test system requirements
+ Participate in the development and implementation of test systems required for validation. This may include both electrical circuit design as well as writing software (LabVIEW, C#)
Required Skills:
+ Interest in test & validation activities in support of electrical systems
+ Proficient written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ 2+ yrs of electrical experience
+ Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay)
+ Familiarity with basic tools that apply to CAN networks
+ Familiarity with design and production of electronic assemblies
