Kelly Services, Inc. is happy to exclusively present a contract opportunity for TWO roles as a Data Coordinator with Material Mass Requests at Dow Chemical in Auburn, MI.
  • Are you great with manipulating DATA and detail oriented?
  • Experience: 2-3 year of work experience in a corporate setting
  • Good foundation in MS Excel skill s, and ability to demonstrate and build advanced Excel skills (Will train!)
  • Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred for long term; Equivalent work experience may be considered .
  • Great communication skills for many different levels of the corporation, attention to detail?
  • This contract position is located onsite in Auburn, MI USA at Dow Chemical Company; right near Midland.
  • Long Term Role - OPEN ended!
  • M-F 8am-5pm!!
  • $20.00-24.00/hr based on experience!

The Material Mass Request Data Coordinator is a member of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Organization . This Data Coordinator role provides mass material master data management services requested by Dow businesses and functions.

The day to day includes the following tasks:
  • Receive requests for mass creations, extensions and changes for material master data.
  • Review & verify mass request data.
  • Prepare files needed for the mass request.
  • Execute mass data loads using Winshuttle or LSMW toolset.
  • Build expertise in the mass request process workflow, steps, roles, contact names and approval requirements. Note: Mass requests are grouped into many requests of materials in an Excel workbook template at one time.
  • Facilitate request routing via communications to key stakeholders during request process workflow.
  • Ensure requests are completed within agreed upon due date/Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Ensure key stakeholders are communicated upon completion of the mass request.
  • Ensure metrics are captured for each mass request.
  • Facilitate, participate and provide updates in weekly status meetings regarding current mass requests.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the mass request process.
  • Create and update mass request process/procedure documentation.

Key skills:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic MS Excel skills and ability to demonstrate and build advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple requests simultaneously
  • Microsoft Skills: Access, Excel, Exchange, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word
  • Mainframe Systems: SAP R2, ECC, INCA, etc.

Additional Detail:

  • There is no 'per diem' with this position, and must be able to work on W-2 hourly basis.
  • There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs.
